Hili Archaeological Park - Al Ain, UAE





Hili Archaeological Park and its surrounding region are nominated for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage Listing. The site encloses some of the most important Bronze and Iron Age tombs, settlements and falaj systems circa 1,000 BC found in the United Arab Emirates. In addition. Hili Archaeological Park involves the restoration and planting of native species covering an approximate area of 1.75km x 1.35km.
The rehabilitation and redevelopment of Hili Archaeological comprised of:
- Park area of approximately ten acres
- Visitors centre including car parking and ticket of office
- Vehicular route, pedestrian boardwalks, water design elements, view towers and pedestrian trails
- Restoration and preservation of the existing and potentially new Archaeological elements
- Restoration of the existing park landscape and introduction of new landscape areas
Coordination and management of the designteam and conservation team comprising of technical consultants and contractors, cost budgeting, contract negotiation, tendering and letting. contracts administration, and compliance with authorities.
